The Situation: Aligning tools with a sophisticated compliance vision
Jabil’s Global Ethics & Compliance team has long recognized that a truly effective program demands more than policies and procedures. It requires a strategic foundation, forward-thinking leadership, and tools that actively foster trust and transparency.
Before adopting Resolver, Jabil’s ethics and compliance strategy had evolved into a sophisticated, global program, supported by strong processes and a well-established speak-up culture. But its supporting software and systems struggled to match this level of maturity. “We started building out our investigation processes and really communicated a speak-up culture to our workforce, which resulted in an increase in reports,” Pazos explains.
As their compliance program matured, it became clear legacy systems couldn’t keep up. The tools in place created inefficiencies, allowed limited visibility into systemic risks, and fell short of supporting critical capabilities like root-cause analysis and remediation tracking. “While our program was evolving, the technology supporting us lagged behind,” Pazos says. “Our previous software could not keep pace with the speed of our innovation, creating a need for more agile and scalable solutions.”
Pazos played a key role in Jabil’s efforts to use data analytics to improve their Global Ethics & Compliance program. By analyzing reports from over 100 sites, her team could spot patterns, uncover risks, and measure the effectiveness of their approach.
However, their analytics operated separately from their main hotline and case management system, causing additional workflows and manual process checks for data integrity practices. It became clear that the team needed better integration — connected tools and streamlined workflows so they could work more efficiently and respond to issues faster.
Jabil identified an opportunity to strengthen their Ethics & Compliance program by improving four key areas:

System integration: Connecting HRIS and other tools directly with case data to create seamless workflows across the organization. |

Investigator efficiency: Streamlining investigations with more intuitive interfaces, making it easier to monitor follow-ups and analyze trends. |

Configurable workflows: Replacing rigid, expensive customizations with flexibility that lets teams adapt as business needs shift. “Even small changes required a third party,” Pazos recalls. “It was costly, time-consuming, and left us at their mercy for timelines.” |

Automated reporting: Replacing manual Excel-based reporting with dashboards that save time and surface insights faster. |
Despite concerns about the complexity of transitioning to a new system, Jabil’s team knew their tools needed to align with the sophistication of their program vision.
